Mound builders

The Mound Builders were a group of ancient Native American Indians that built large mounds made out of the resources that were from the central parts of the US. They are mostly from the Ohio and Mississippi river valleys during the prehistoric times. But some of the Mound Builders would continue to build mounds even into the 19th century, for example the Natchez Indians.

The Mound Builders influenced history because of the mounds they built, the myths that surround them, and the tools they made.
